Merry Christmas !

If you've got some time to spare in between the festivities today, here's some Christmassy inspiration.

Whichever book genre you prefer, there's a little Christmas movie to everyone's taste 😉

A few months ago the television distribution went digital.

As there wasn't much decent on screen anymore, I decided not to make the switch.

What a relief!

Now there's more time to read and to finally watch all my dvd's without the annoying interruptions by commercials.

Although … some commercials are really worthwile.

Especially around Christmas time, there are true gems out there!

Today I selected a few of them. Some are recent, others are a bit older. Some are more serious, while others are funny.

But they're all beautiful and inspiring.

And I've ranked them based on reading taste (this is a book blog after all 😉 ).

Merry Christmas!

Another one - that I like even more - can be seen in my article Need a hug?

Are you rather a fan of Dickens' Christmas Carol?

  1. I only knew the last one, Tau, and I've watched it some six months ago. And guess what? I's my favourite too! Now isn't that a coincidence! Not really, right? Frankly, I'm getting used to it by now. You are me and I am you, and that's a fact - some higher power seems to be messing with the space-time continuum or a cosmic wormhole it would seem.

    3. Henry David Thoreau 😉
He said: "Read the best books first, or you may not have a chance to read them at all."

  3. But books are a completely different category. Reading your blog takes a relative short time. Reading good books is another league. I can't read a book in a short time and I must expose myself to the big ugly world outside in the periods between reading :-). So on that account H.D. Thoreau is right, read what you think is best first.
